Maple Coffee Breakfast Bowl

A gourmet breakfast bowl where the sweetness of maple meets a light, airy coffee foam. Perfect for brunch, an energizing snack, or a quick dessert.

Ingredients

Maple Coffee Foam

  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) instant coffee
  • 15 ml (1 tbsp) very hot water
  • 10 ml (2 tsp) amber maple syrup, rich taste (or dark maple syrup, robust taste for a stronger flavour)

Yogurt Base

  • 150 ml (⅔ cup) plain Greek yogurt
  • 10 ml (2 tsp) amber maple syrup, rich taste
  • A pinch of cinnamon

Toppings

  • 1 tbsp chia or hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp chopped roasted nuts (pecans or almonds)
  • Maple & nut granola from Le Bistreau d’érable
  • Dark chocolate shavings
  • Fresh fruit to taste

Preparation

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the instant coffee, hot water, and maple syrup using an electric mixer or whisk for 3–5 minutes, until thick and glossy.
  2. In a serving bowl, mix the yogurt with maple syrup and cinnamon.
  3. Gently spoon the coffee foam over the yogurt.
  4. Top with seeds, nuts, granola, and chocolate. Serve immediately.
